Annual Conference Study Trip
The Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform Annual Conference proposes a very diverse and dynamic programme.
The programme on 5 and 6 June gives voice to the variety of stakeholders participating in the Platform: from cities representatives to technology providers.
All Keys to Innovation will be presented and the city representatives attending will have the chance to choose their favourite!
Have a look at the detailed programme here.
Before heading home, we encourage participants to take advantage of another great experience by taking part in an exclusive study trip, on Friday 7th June.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit two of the most innovative infrastructures of the city of Budapest:
The Sewage Treatment Plant that was built underground using the latest technology. Treating up to 80% of Budapest’s sewage, the Plant led to major improvements in the Danube water quality.
The new Budapest metro line 4 construction site. Currently at 90% ready, it will run automatic vehicles. Have a look at the gallery (Pictures were taken in September 2012)
A bus will pick up participants at the Boscolo Hotel at 8.30. The end of the activity is foreseen for 12 o’clock.
Please tick the option ‘study trip’ in the registration form, if you wish to participate.
