An EIP-SCC Action Cluster workshop was held, alongside the Nordic Edge conference, consistent with the strategy to bring EIP-SCC stakeholders together at a more recognised set of events occurring across Europe: notably, the Brussels General Assembly; and Brno, Stavanger and Barcelona Smart City conferences. It was also held in the context of a number of important other EC-supported dialogues held in Stavanger: the Mission workshop; Smart City Lighthouse learnings and new Programme welcome; and transition of the EIP-SCC Marketplace support contract to the new provider.
The workshop was partially quorate, with representation across the all Action Clusters (AC), involving some AC Chairs, some Initiative leads, plus some Nordic region representation. It was however highly productive in moving plans for the ACs and their initiatives forward; and most importantly, exploring synergies between EIP-SCC initiatives and other major EC-funded projects.
The objectives were to:
- Secure delivery of EIP-SCC initiatives, and ensure clear plans and tangible deliverables were in sight.
- Tighten recognition of interdependencies between initiatives, and actions to deliver synergies.
- Strengthen relationships between, and commitment of, Initiative stakeholders.
